Lesley Batten - Associate Director of Nursing, Integrated Community Nursing, Communities, Localities & Commissioning, Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral
Lesley Batten has been the operational manager and professional lead for the MidCentral Integrated Community Nursing team for the past four years.
This team includes the District Nursing and Tissue Viability Services. After a varied clinical background in New Zealand and Botswana, she moved into the tertiary education sector, involved in postgraduate population health and nursing education and research. Her interests include using data to enhance nursing practice development and supporting nurses to nurse.
Mandy Bevan - Charge Nurse, District Nursing Service, Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral.
Mandy Bevan has been the Charge Nurse of the District Nursing Team MidCentral for seven years. She leads a team of approximately 70 nurses across seven geographical sites. Her background in District Nursing spans over 30 years. She is particularly keen to develop and promote community-based patient-focused care delivery that is timely, accessible and equitable.
